TaylorMade SIM Driver
TaylorMade has been at the forefront of developing driver technology for over four decades and they continue to produce equipment delivering exceptional performance. The SIM driver is the latest from TaylorMade, replacing and improving on the highly impressive M5 driver. Put straight into use by many top Tour players this season, the SIM has quickly proven itself to be one of the longest and most consistent drivers on the market in 2020.
Editor's Choice 2020
SIM stands for Shape In Motion and this comes from the asymmetric sole design said to reduce aerodynamic drag in the last three feet of the downswing, to maximise clubhead speed where it is needed most – just before impact. A low centre of gravity optimises launch and increases forgiveness.
The driver features a raised, lightweight chromium carbon crown with chalk white topline that contrasts nicely with the black face. The SIM looks great at address and is easy to align.

Speed machine
In testing, we found the SIM delivered a noteworthy increase in both clubhead and ball speeds compared to the M5. The enhanced aerodynamics clearly help you to get a little extra zip and that means extra carry, extra distance.
We were also impressed with the consistency of ball flight. Together with the strong feel and sound off the face, this helps to inspire great confidence and allows you to swing freely and powerfully through the ball.

Impressive adjustability
The SIM has a 10 gram slidable weight that makes a real difference. In fact, it can create up to 20 yards of draw or fade bias – a real potential game changer for those who struggle with a particular shot shape.
Overall, the SIM is longer and equally, if not more, consistent than its predecessors. With a strong look at address and a great sound at impact, it inspires confidence and that’s just what you need from the tee.
