Dromoland Castle just north of Limerick is one of the most imposing Baronial Castles in Ireland. Ancestral home of the O'Briens, the family lived there between 1551 and 1962. The course at Dromoland has been in existence since 1962, but the track has been altered dramatically in recent years. The revamped layout is the work of the late JB Carr and Ron Kirby. The owners have invested over 5 million in the project.
