No 68 - Killarney - Killeen
The Killarney Killeen course brings golf to a dramatic and romantic setting, where lakes and mountains provide imposing backdrops to this championship track

68 KILLARNEY – Killeen
Architect: Hackett, O’Sullivan 2006 position: 46 Stats: 6,613 yds; par 72; SSS 71 GF: €90-€130 T: 00353 64 31034 W: killarney-golf.com
The lake and high mountain range provide imposing backdrops to this championship course.
It was re-opened two years ago with faster greens that are now closer to the many water hazards.
Some of the early holes are situated very close to the lake and are consequently more memorable, especially the excellent 4th, and also the 10th, a corking one-shotter over water to a semi-island green.
The greens are consistently excellent – absolutely beautiful putting surfaces and really quick.
A great finishing hole where, according to the club’s website, a par is really a birdie. SP
