Woking is the third, the oldest, and the most undulating of Surrey's famous 'Three Ws'. The par 3s are particularly good with the 2nd, in excess of 200 yards, played over a valley and stream to a large, two-tiered plateau green on the shoulder of a hill. The closing hole defines Woking's charms, framed as it is by a pond and a sentinel oak.
Panellists' comments: "The charming verandah and feel of the clubhouse make this a very special place"; "Brute of a 9th hole."
