The Marquess is the most recent addition to Woburn's impressive portfolio of courses. It stretches well beyond 7,000 yards from the tips, but it's reasonably generous from the tee and is highly playable for golfers of most abilities as a result. The layout is carved through huge mature trees as fairways sweep to large, undulating greens.
Panellists' comments: "The design is excellent with clever use of bunkers, natural trees, undulating fairways and water"
