This Martin Hawtree creation near Wokingham in Berkshire is mature beyond its 15 years. Essentially a parkland layout, there's heathland feel in places - especially the risk-reward par-4 8th - plus a handful of water hazards to keep you on your toes, most notably on the lakeside par-3 14th, which boasts Bearwood's largest putting surface.
Panellists' comments: "Excellent new course that's always fun to play"; "Very welcoming and a relaxed feel to the whole place"
