Off the back tees, this eyecatching and very pretty challenge involves no fewer than 12 par 4s in excess of 400 yards... and no par 5s. Add to its defence the gorse, heather, bracken, streams and gullies and you have a most demanding test, which is at the same time both a joy and an absolute delight to play.
Panellists' comments: "Fantastic turf for golf"; "Twoballs only, so it's almost impossible for a round to take more than three hours"
