This first design by renowned architect Alister MacKenzie - with a little help from his friend, Harry Colt - pre-dates his creation at Augusta National by 27 years and bears several of his design principles. There's a mix of long par 4s and drive-and- pitch holes, undulating greens and fairways, and a real emphasis on natural beauty.
Panellists' comments: "Well-presented and maintained"; "Secluded setting makes it feel very private"; "Excellent clubhouse"
