Many have argued that a day spent strolling the fairways of The Berkshire's two Top 100 courses offers the greatest possible golfing fun. If so, then the Red's heady mix of six par 3s, six par 4s and six par 5s is a key element, offering plenty of risk/reward options and birdie chances. Off the white tees only the 5th and 18th of those six par 3s measure within seven yards of each other, so it's quite possible you could be hitting a different club on every short hole. And how many other courses do you know where only one hole has the same par as the one preceding it?
Panellists' comments: "Possibly the most fun course in the UK"; "Very visitor-friendly"; "Make sure you leave room for the carvery"
