Motocaddy M5 GPS
It was only a matter of time before our electric trolleys incorporated a smartphone-like display and it has now arrived in style in the form of Motocaddy’s new M5 GPS.
Editor's Choice 2020
One of the world’s first touch screen-enabled electric trolleys, the M5 GPS is Motocaddy’s flagship model for 2020 and features a hi-res 3.5” LCD display that can be controlled in all weather conditions, even when wearing a glove. It incorporates a fully integrated GPS system with yardages on over 40,000 preloaded courses.

Front, middle and back distances are visible, along with the ability to move flag positions on the screen and check for any hazards on the hole. When connected to the free Motocaddy GPS app, golfers can also receive a wide-range of smartphone notifications direct to the touch screen without handling a mobile phone, alerting to a missed call, text message, email or range of app alerts, including WhatsApp and Facebook.

Distance measuring devices and electric trolleys can be expensive investments so to have them combined in such a flawless, seamless way is testament to the design team at Motocaddy. The various features are easy to navigate and the ability to move the flag on the green should convert many laser rangefinder users, such is the extra level of accuracy and precision that is achieved.
There are so many other features that make it one of the most comprehensive and appealing options on the market, like the compact lithium battery that can be charged on board, the inverted wheels that allow it to be folded down compactly and stored in very tight spaces, as well as the Easilock base, that ensures Motocaddy bags don’t wobble or slide around when in use on bumpy or sloping terrain.
If you want the latest and greatest, the Motocaddy M5 GPS is a must-buy in 2020.
