Teaching philosophy:
Do the basics brilliantly with a strong basis on correct fundamentals of balance in training and performing.
Coach the person and understand their tendencies and how far they are willing to improve in what time frame. My philosophy is building outstanding geometry in the swing with strong match ups that simplify performance around baseline pillars of: Ball flight, wedge play, 30 yards around the green, 3-10 feet with putter and strategy.
A typical lesson:
Begin with full understanding of the players desire, needs and goals for a particular time frame. Then data capture with TrackMan, 3D & 2D analysis. And close with a full plan of actions for that time frame with understanding of what commitments are made from both parties.
Most common impact:
Early extension with too much hand path recovery leading to poor strike and being at the mercy of timing and tempo.
Students learn best when…
They own the information given to them.
