Malone is described by some as the Augusta of Ireland and while that might be going a little over the top it certainly is a superb course. Mature trees, a large lake and a shocks of colorful flowers make it an instantly memorable setting.
There are actually 27 holes here which are nominally divided into three loops of nine although the main 18 is regarded as being made up of the Drumbridge and Ballydrain nines. The other holes (the Edenderry) are not as long or as testing but go top make a very impressive day's golf. If you are looking to stay in Belfast we recommend a little B&B by the name of An Old Rectory ? the ?Ulster Fry? breakfast is the stuff of legends.
Best Hole: The par-4 5th is a tight dog-leg left that plays over 400 yards.
Green Fees: £25 - £40
