Broome Park GC
Broome Park is a 6,580 yard parkland course set on a 268 acre estate with awesome views over the surrounding Kent valleys. And the Broome Park estate certainly goes back a few years, built in the reign of Charles the first it has had a long and illustrious list of owners. But now Broome Park has established its identity as the beautiful home for a testing English parkland golf course.
Whilst it's certainly a testing track, Broome Park is an ideal venue for golfers of all standards. Clever bunkering will make you think all the way round and in the summer the undulating fairways become hard and bouncy. But keep the ball on the straight and narrow and you should have a good chance of scoring well.
The 18th hole is a 508 yard par-5 that plays towards the grand old clubhouse. The water that lies dangerously in front of the green makes a par a very good score.
Best Hole: The 18th gives you the chance of a grandstand finish, only if you can avoid drowning in the water in front of the green.
